Forever Stamps
Don’t you hate it when you have to buy a lot of one and two-cent stamps when the current stamp rate changes and you have a lot of old stamps left? Or when you have to wait to buy stamps for a few days because you know that the current price of stamps is going to change soon? Well, you may have to not deal with that inconvenience if the U.S. Postal Service begins making forever stamps. Forever stamps are stamps that are bought at the current rate and even if the rate changes, they never expire and can be used without adding on one or two-cent stamps. Other countries around the world have stamps that are similar to forever stamps, but the systems vary depending on the country.
If forever stamps are made they will help the post offices become more efficient and they will be great conveniences for customers. The postal service will not have to make and sell one and two-cent stamps, and customers will not have to worry about buying one-cent and two-cent stamps or timing the buying of their stamps with the rate changes.
If forever stamps start being made you will most likely still have a wide variety of styles to choose from. The postal service will still offer a wide variety of stamps for different holidays, like Christmas and Valentines day, and occasions, like birthdays and weddings. There will also be a variety of stamps for you to choose from that work with different personal tastes and preferences.
