If you have your own business, are an artist or writer, or you work within a business that involves you getting clients, business cards can be great tools in helping you spread your name around and in making you look professional. If you decide that you want some business cards, you have a lot of options when it comes to content and design.

The basic business card consists of white background with black text, and your name, logo, phone number(s), fax number, address, email address, or website. Of course, there are numerous stationary companies that make business cards with more interesting visual designs that can look more professional and can catch the eye of anybody you give your card to. If you are an artist it is a good idea to include a bit of your art in your logo on the card.

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of stationary companies that make business cards. The price of the cards depends on the company and their rates, the design and the quantity of cards you order. If you are a small business owner or anybody who is just starting out in their field and is on a budget, you should look at a variety of companies to find the best deal for you and your budget. Also, you need to decide what content will be on your cards. If you do not want to give out all of your information, and if it is not relevant to your business, you should probably just include your email and phone number instead of your entire address.
